How to debug "Auth fail for methods 'publickey,password'"

So no matter to which host I try to connect, I always get `Auth fail for methods 'publickey,password'`. Even for hosts that do not require a password.

Are there any debugging / logging facilities? E.g. like the `-v` option for the SSH client?
